Being good looking has lead to a battle for me, I've at times have trusted in my flesh some...........this world is obsessed with looking good, I find trusting in looking good isn't the thing to do, but trust in god, god's power to "raise me up in due time"......................

  I'm just letting you all know world, when  you have no more no "confidence in the flesh" per Philippians 3:3 you won't no longer seek, to have good makeup, you will no longer watch makeup tutorials on you tube fixing to all "replicate" that stuffs. Instead you'll pray at the beginning of everyday (likely), you'll read your bible in the morning - you'll seek out instead god, and believe in god's power to raise us up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 Peter 5:6 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:"

  ------------------------------------- Interestingly, lately on my instagram I posted a video of me without makeup on, and with my hair just hanging down no hairstyle...............and my follower count HAS GONE UP. It's taught me something about what the bible calls "comeliness". 

  There is a "trap" in this world, when you see people on instagram and various social media's, people with much makeup, and much worldly hairdo's --------------- to think "oh that's what I must do as well to be popular".  But true "comeliness" happens when you aren't hard at work to be friends with this world......................people actually I find are attracted to someone who's brave enough to not wear gallons of makeup on their faces etc. Many people out there wear so much makeup on their faces...............you wonder what they even look like under all of that???????????????????

   People like being able to go to a instagram account of someone without makeup on "oh that is what that person looks like". 

   People like realness I find! 

   The makeup not only do you end up not looking like yourself, if your good at it, like I unfortunately got good at it...............you can pretty well transform yourself into a whole nother person entirely.............in my case that person was "marilyn monroe". 

   But near loosing my idea here, god doesn't want us trusting in our fleshes earth. God does not need us, looking like celebrities ready to walk the red carpet to raise us up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

  God would prefer, instead, of us chasing after being friends with this world via having so many super glam pretty time, instagram photos, that we be "of the circumcision" Philippians 3:3 "For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh."  --------------- Not long ago I bought 3 wigs, to wear as headcoverings at church cause my mom was was adamant that I not walk around wearing tichels (cause then she knows I look jewish then and not white, and she is convinced that it is greately advantageous to look white). I'm going to store them away, and recycle those wigs for haloween costumes (and then get rid of them after I've weared said costumes ------------- my kids like me dressing up for haloween). And my colored hair clips, I gonna see if the kids want em, surely those are a bad plan.

---- update ------- still talking to the elder about becoming a member of the apostolic christian church of america, I told him though I like our monthly talks and he can take his time : ) I do want to get baptised again I actually do, for my own personal reasons........................I got baptised at the age of 13, because I was really really really demon possessed at the age of 13 (sleep walking at night and I clean snaped out of it one night as saw my arms moving and my mouth was moving but I wasn't the one talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this went on for at least a year near nightly) they didn't want to pay the money to get a exorcist - so they really pressured me a lot to get baptised.
  I want to get baptised again and have it be completely my decision this time! Mark 10:39 "And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:"
    I believed jesus was christ back then, was I actually planning on following him back then ----------- I don't think I was.
  But now I know how much better it is to live for jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!! Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Hope everyone's week is going well. (I had a good time at church this weekend, the apostolic christian church of america of portland they do this verse for me........Ephesians 3:17 "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love," --------------- if I didn't go to a church, if I did not belong to no church nowhere.............I do believe I'd likely have a bloated ego, I probably would then think more highly of myself then I should Romans 12:3 "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." Lately I'm I'd say pretty thouroughly "rooted and grounded in love" I'm very thankful for that. And if anyone out there doesn't have a church at the moment that you regularly attend I recommend finding a church be "rooted and grounded in love"

You know going to church on sunday, loving god, loving jesus (which I think in my mind I loved god/jesus much back then) BUT ALSO HAVING A FOOT IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Galatians 6:7-8 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

 I think maybe the pharisee's though weren't like visibly giving into lot's of the lusts of the flesh????? Maybe some them were just "covetous" aka double minded! Luke 16:15 "And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God."

Luke 10:27 "And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." I want to love god that much everyday not be no more double minded having one foot in the church and one foot in the world --------- the pharisee's in luke 16:14 "WHO WERE COVETOUS" ya they were highly esteemed among men the pharisee's where  

"but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God"

Not only is god not mocked "for whatsoever a man showeth he also shell reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption....." Update 3/17/2022 (in 2013 when this blog post was created I was trying to kiss up to the apostolic christian church of america - it didn't work I was miserably unpopular at that church). These days I believe the narrow way, while it does involve suffering in the flesh. There is a thing as "overkill" ------------ If you are miserable following Jesus your pry going "to far" 

the joy of the lord is our strength well we are supposed to have "joy of the lord" because it's supposed to be ENJOYABLE to follow Jesus! And it is - if you don't go "to far" 

Nehemiah 8:10 "Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength." It's when you get miserable following Jesus if that were to happen, or maybe miserable of hearing sermons????????? IF/WHEN your joy of the Lord drops, if it were to drop (for instance if you are suffering to much to kiss up to the apostolic christian church of america some people kiss up to them successfully) then you might "fall away"???????? Maybe for awhile from the faith fall away or something???????????????

  Before I heard that sermon tonight I was thinking about buying a wig, I rethought that there idea.......................I though think there are things we can buy while following jesus but surely I don't want to be in some "free for all" some "lasciviousness" um athon................the world not being friends with it, if your not going to be friends with it, or you don't want to be friends with it.................................I think the world is about the lusts of the flesh...............1 John 2:16 "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." I have a horrible time not letting myself be influenced by the world............I like nice things...................but at the same time I do absolutely not want to be a friend with the world IT IS BETTER I PARTAKE IN THE SUFFERINGS OF CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (they don't but maybe watch at least over here the west coast 1 movie maybe a day at that church - if that on the internet, no people owning tv's that I know of in the apostolic christian church of america on the west coast) Philippians 4:5 "Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand." Many things can be bad if you abuse them and tv is one of those things. But some tv depending on the shows you are watching can be beneficial. These days for instance I love watching documentaries, well you can learn a lot watching documentaries.

I am winning NOT watching tv!!!!!!!!!

Last night I had a nightmare I watched some tv it was horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FELT TORTURED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I started praying to god feeling all condemned............please help me not watch tv anymore (prayed that out loud though - talk in my sleep sometimes ------------- eventually I figure out oh wait I'm talking in my sleep again).
$60 a month my husband pays for that sattelight tv EPIC RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For some people out there with a bit more self control some tv can be ok....................1 Corinthians 7:31 "And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away." if you used the tv without abusing it, if you watched like just 1 hour a tv a day or something and not such worldy shows. BUT I AIN'T ABLE TO DO THAT ------------ I CRACK I ALWAYS CRACK AND I END UP WATCHING GOBS OF TV AND IT'S BAD...................FOR ME TV IS LIKE A FOOT OFFENDING ME I NEED TO CHOP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mark 9:45 "And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:"
