  I was listening to christian radio last night cause I was having a bad time being able to sleep - real bad. What you put into your life =========== IS WHAT YOU GOING TO REAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Update sheri 8/30/2022 This post is about returning to the "weak and beggarly elements" well everything in life is about balance. 

  If you see 1st the kingdom of heaven you will be alright I find. Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

  I was taught at the Apostolic Christian Church of America to run in terror of music, makeup, etc. etc. naw you don't have to run in terror. In this world if you want to succeed sometimes you need makeup.......................and music can be great to listen to and unwind and relax at the end of the day INCLUDING GOTH MUSIC ESPECIALLY IN MY ESTIMATION GOTH MUSIC.

There's many a day I battle myself...........thinking to myself I really want to go watch that tv, listen to the bands I used to like that are not that stellar at all -------------- I have from time to time desired to be in bondage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The more though I suffer in the flesh THE EASIER IT GET'S FOLLOWING JESUS I FIND, I find the things of this world to be "the weak and beggarly elements" aka......................1 John 2:16 "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." tv and worldly music to I think is part the "weak and beggarly elements"
  Somehow the tv, the worldly music it has to be related to this "bondage"..............people don't just be all about "the pride of life, the lust of the flesh" I recogn the tv tempts them, the radio tempts them THAT IS WHAT I DO RECOGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
   These days ----------- apostolic christian church of america been praying for me ------------- cause I tell you all what I will somedays think I "want" to listen to regular worldly music AND I CAN'T EVEN GET LIKE ANY LIKE ENJOYMENT OUT OF WORLDLY MUSIC CAUSE ALL I'M ABLE TO HEAR IS THE REBELLION TO THE WORD OF GOD IN MUCH OF TODAY'S POPULAR MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
  Lately I been listening to Klove online and enjoying that! (christian music)
  Now my hair has finally grown out long enough that I am able to wear a medium sized hair donut : ) I think it looks so nice : ) I tatted the prayer uh doily to (I learned how to tatt long time ago............back to tatting again, took a break from it for awhile ---------- I don't actually like doilies that much)
  And I have decided I am keeping my hair this brown hue, cause my hair grows really fast.........my roots grow in dark so w/the brown hair dye I don't have to do "touch ups" often. Hope everyone's week is going good!

Update 3/17/2022 (in 2013 when this blog post was created I was trying to kiss up to the apostolic christian church of america - it didn't work I was miserably unpopular at that church). These days I believe the narrow way, while it does involve suffering in the flesh. There is a thing as "overkill" ------------ If you are miserable following Jesus your pry going "to far" 

the joy of the lord is our strength well we are supposed to have "joy of the lord" because it's supposed to be ENJOYABLE to follow Jesus! And it is - if you don't go "to far" 

Nehemiah 8:10 "Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength." It's when you get miserable following Jesus if that were to happen, or maybe miserable of hearing sermons????????? IF/WHEN your joy of the Lord drops, if it were to drop (for instance if you are suffering to much to kiss up to the apostolic christian church of america some people kiss up to them successfully) then you might "fall away"???????? Maybe for awhile from the faith fall away or something???????????????

ALL even those of this earth who "know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness......" those of this earth they run to........SO RUN THAT YE MAY OBTAIN! I want to get much more serious about this race, running that I may obtain, love my enemies.....Matthew 5:44-45 "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Really speaks to me part that verse that says "That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he matheth the sun to rise on the evil and on the good......" That we may be the children of our Father which is in heaven!
It's not enough to just do a good deed here and there I don't think! Nope we need to love our enemies, very well "do good to them that hate you" like our father in heaven who rains on the just and on the unjust! THAT YE MAY BE the children of your Father which is in heaven!
