Update 10/8/2023 the keto diet and working out most nights on the tread climber for 1 hour is really working. Not only am I getting mega skinny this way --- FEELING BETTER IN GENERAL - my asthma is barely there anymore..................

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,"

  A few times in my life, people have told me because I am of jewish lineage that that is it, I am heading to hell. (I may of been told that recently hence this blog post)  1 Corinthians 1:23 "But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;" The stumbling blog IS REAL, it happens when jews aren't able to stop giving saving significance to the law.............when they can't accept that jesus really paved a way to live that SAVES! If there be any jews reading this you don't need the law, you need jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE SAVES, HE IS CHRIST, THE WAY HE PAVED DOES INDEED LEAD TO LIFE ETERNAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

  I believe the law is very useful still (not the important life saving thing though jesus is what saves) Romans 3:31 "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."

..............I will never get a tattoo (less someone kidnaps me ties me down and forces me, and then I'll get it removed)

..................I will never have a seance

.....................and I ain't anymore going to eat meat with blood in it -------- due to what is written in the old testiment Genesis 9:4 "But flesh with the life thereof, which is the bloodthereof, shall ye not eat."

 You all might completely poo poo the law of god, and go and see pychics everyweek - eat blood filled meat galore, talk to the dead daily and to that I say.............Isaiah 57:19 "I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him."

  I can't stress enough right now though that ------- that I don't visit pychics and I don't talk to the dead, and I don't eat lots of bloody meat, and I don't go get at tattoo..................that stuffs isn't what saves me AT ALL..............Denying myself taking up my cross and following jesus daily - that is what is saving me and what will save me long as I don't draw back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I've been thinking about the pharisee's a slew lately, and their "leaven" how
a.) the pharisee's always exist, I think it is very possible that we all have a pharisee or near pharisee CLEAN IN OUR OWN FAMILIES! (pray for them)
b) they have "leaven" pharisee's do that is very BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  I think it's important to know the "characteristics" of a pharisee to be able to really avoid their leaven BEWARE OF THEIR LEAVEN KNOW THEIR LEAVEN IS REAL AND IT'S THERE AND WE ALL LIKELY ARE AROUND THE "LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEE'S AND SADDUCEES" EVERY WEEK IF NOT EVERY DAY!..................
Luke 18:10-12 "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess."

 In Luke 18:10-12 the pharisee is clearly PROUD, "I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extornioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican" also he is clearly Dedicated,  "I fast twice in the week" 

world - this blogger ain't never fasted (though I once battled annorexia but that's different)

  These days........2 hours go by and I got the munchies! : ) hahahahhahah (if I felt lead of god to fast I would!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure how successful I'd be at that though????????????) 

  And this pharisee in Luke 18:10-12 HE WAS DOING A SLEW OF GOOD............."I give tithes of all that I possess"

  This pharisee clearly wasn't a extortioner, or a adulterer...................in my estimation very "straight laced", clearly in a long standing habit of fasting twice in the week, giving tithes of all he possessed.............in my estimation looking very much to be a really "straight shooting arrow" 

  Cept he was missing a few things....................

I think he was missing caring about people

I think he was doing all that good to look good to god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matthew 5:20 "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."

It is actually that important that we care for one another and love one another! I worry that the leaven of the pharisee has effected me in the past and I'm near certain that it has............I'm weary of the leaven of the pharisee and the sadducee's (which I don't have nearly as much idea what a "sadducee" is??????????) 

  This might be goofy for me to say this, lately I've been signing a few petitions on http://www.thepetitionsite.com/ and I am relieved by how passionate I am about some those causes how much I DO CARE! Last night I didn't just sign the petition I posted it on my facebook, one those causes there is so close to my heart.......LITERALLY ONE OF MY CAUSES IN MY LIFE (the one about the homeless people) 

   The good news about Matthew 5:20 is it's I think not hard to "exceed the righteousness of the scribes and pharisee's" I don't think it's hard to care about people.............I COULD BE WRONG??????????????? 

 But I don't think it's hard.

ps............I could use prayer that I get that graphic design job. I am a finalist for it, and I have to submit one more design, and I will find out if I get the job this Tuesday. (it's work from home, so I'll still be able to lift weights for a hour in the day like I like to, walk my chihuahua's tend to switch off between gym days and walk the chihuahua days : ), and listen to the ac streamer read my bible : ) 

And a car hit me, I already have prayed for the people that hit me that they'd get saved, that their car would be able to be repaired for not a slew of money...........need prayer that we can either find a new back car door or effectively take the dents out of it. Good news, nobody was hurt that I know of. Forgive and move on, and forward to jesus!,

 I am thankful for the whole body of christ cause when I suffer MY CHURCH SUFFERS WITH ME..........1 Corinthians 12:25-27 "That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular."

  Nobody wants to suffer by themselves, and you want people to completely sympathize with you - whatever it is you are going through..............not being alone, not having to go through buisiness alone, I am thankful for that! 

  I am going off on some mush for the body of christ athon at the moment............elder of my church he clean took notes last time I chatted with him............I appreciate that. The humility the elder of my church is showing in that, and the care that he is taking that kind of care, to take notes - note, things I like that people do in the church. Philippians 2:1-3 "If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fullfil ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."

   Thing with "vainglory" and I've battled that in the past, is when your doing something for "vainglory" reasons and it could be anything...............................I think in the past when I was into the "vainglory" a lot - I was less of a "team" more um out of the whole. I think when we are all truelly humble and in lowliness esteeming each other higher then ourselves, we do have then that "same love, being of one accord, of one mind" So much better that way, there's no vainglory I could pursue that would be worth it! 

 This verse goes with the video above......................2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." AMEN!

my week long hair growth progress report..........................here's my hair at the beginning of last week or so...................

So clearly results, but it is a lot of work, because I have a spray bottle with rosemary and then cloves in it and I wet my hair with that 1st. Then I have a container with eggs, olive oil, henna, and now I've started adding a bit of indigo dye in the container to.........put that in my damp hair let that sit 30 minutes to a hour every night.

  I just got off the phone to my husband, I told my husband, the baby gift baskets have to make some kind of difference for the better in the church!!!!!!!! Even if everyone views me as the dork of the church!

I think if you are washing each others feet, doing good to one another, and forgiving one another (I deem that a important element as well, cause you can't much do good to a person I recogn if you are bearing a grudge against them Leviticus 19:18 "Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.") you will love one another then!!!!!!! 
 I want to very much do my part, and not live for myself, but lay my life down for the brethren!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That there be love in the church, that there be mercy in the church, that there be joy in the church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Update 10/4/2023 I disagree with both sheri 2014 and sheri earlier this year..................tv is ok, but moderation is the key. My husband doesn't watch "to much" tv. Philippians 4:5 "Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand."

  I'm still battling "extreme asthma" but am perservering on the treadclimber by Bowflex. I know I will have success, I just don't know when (I know I will manage to send my asthma into remission)..............

  My husband informed me that he is on the narrow way, he watches tv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I sit there and really scratch my head over that????????????????? How does my husband think watching tv everynight that he is on the straight and narrow??????? (he often waits to watch tv til after I go to bed, so that I don't have to be trapped in my computer room away from everyone all evening - HE TOLD ME THAT WAS WHAT HE WAS DOIN FROM SOME POINT IN TIME ON OUT............he's held to his word, he don't start watching his tv shows til after I go to bed) 
  I must say it is nice to be able to go play board games with the kids, play often these days I play mario cart with my oldest, I often go for walks with my oldest and my chihuahua's and biking or skating with jessena (not really the type to spend time in the living room anyways). It's nice not being stuck a hostage in my computer room for hours a day anymore, that's been real nice for me for a long time.
   I have been going seeing movies sometimes with my family, and I might stop doing that though.............................yes, to the pure all things are pure, but I surely don't take Luke 13:23-25 to be some kind of joke that ha ha god won't really shut a lot of people out. God's going to close the door on many MANY people that thought themselves to very much so be christians!
