I read this passage of the bible WITH FRESH EYE'S TODAY. Both concerning the holocaust and the killing mass killing of fellow native americans. Isaiah 3:15 "What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord God of hosts." Beating the least of all people according to the bible and grinding the faces of the poor ---------- EASY TARGETS DOING HORRIBLE THINGS TO PEOPLE THAT ARE EASY TO GANG UP ON LIKE THAT...................PROUD jews get judged in this passage as well, but I took note it's the proud of them................
This whole passage of the bible "grabbed" me today.................it do say verse 10 say ye to the righteous let all us know all us that be's uh caring about the poor giving them money etc. etc. - it will be "well with him" FOR THEY SHALL EAT THE FRUIT OF THEIR DOINGS (aka donating to help feed homeless people I believe...............we will reap a good harvest!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if we do not see this good harvest yet WE WILL REAP IT)
Isaiah 310 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
13 The Lord standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
14 The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. (sheri interjecting ----------------------STUFF IN THEIR HOUSES, that they bought that they should've instead donated to feed the poor!!!!!!!!! "the spoil of the poor" is stuffs you have that God meant for you to give to the poor..................whether that's money or literal items in your house)
15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord God of hosts.
17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts.
18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
21 The rings, and nose jewels,
22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.
Matthew 6:19-21King James Version
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
be in the word of god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actively much care about the POOR ------ don't care so much about how I look, HOW I LOOK
(there is pressure on us all to look nice)
HOW I LOOK ISN'T REALLY THAT IMPORTANT
AND I DO MEAN
WHETHER I HAVE A HEADCOVERING OR NOT
DO I LOVE????????????????????????????????????????
DO I LOVE GOD WITH ALL MY HEART AND MIND AND SPIRIT AND STRENGTH
AND LOVE PEOPLE??????????
Mark 12:29-31King James Version
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Shabbat Shalom
--- remember we all can eat "good fruit"
it's not to late for anybody I don't recogn..........
Isaiah 3:10 "Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings." This good fruit of our good doings of caring for the poor and loving god with all our strength and mind and heart and soul...................WE WILL EAT GOOD FRUIT FROM THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
