 Dear fellow Christians I being a goth, do not "celebrate" halloween I merely buy fresh home decor this time of year.   I thank god for the pagans. Because without them, there wouldn't be a halloween. I would think in that event there would still be halloween decor at Hot Topic, in the mall, but stuff at Hot Topic is sometimes very very expensive.   Also um, going past what Mr. Renner said, it's good to think upon what is "idolatry" because I think it's more then we think it is.................Colossians 3:5 "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:" "And covetousness, which is idolatry" ------- that is idolatry according to the bible. I respect Mr. Renner's effort to nail idolatry as being in halloween, christmas and easter........which it CAN BE. And idolatry is indeed something to flee. 

  But idolatry can also be mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnny many more places. 

  Idolatry is for sure more then little statues of budda. 

So I would say, maybe to start a "flee from idolatry" a good place to start is christmas, easter, and halloween............so I am aggreeing with Mr. Renner. But then also just like work to not covet anything of anybodies. Exodus 20:17 "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's." Update 2/13/2025 eating cold oatmeal nowdays a lot

have tweaked how I make it to

1 bag of flavoured oatmeal (I been buying it in bulk at costco)

almond milk (I do over a 50% ratio)

add NORMAL OATMEAL to bulk up the oats cause we got a normal style plain flavour oatmeal that absorbs more almond milk!!!!!!!!!!!!

and then chia seeds or flax seeds - either or works...........

I been eating cold oatmeal in the mornings AND at night (cause I often do get late night munchies) 

morning oats also will make it less likely that I'm going to binge and eat a bunch of potatoe chips I have no buisiness eating for instance!

I was suffering from all sorts of insecurities about my chubby face, which is fine, I'm like most women out there, insecure a bit that's rather common. (I'm about to try and have some side fringes of hair hanging out from my headcovering, there's a better answer to this here problem!!!!). I don't like to have both hair and makeup at the same time...............I feel I'm a "friend with the world" then. It's definately got to be one or the other, it's gotta be, hair and no makeup, or makeup and headcovering I believe (the headcovering separates me from the world). 2 Corinthians 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."
  Jesus did hang out with sinners, but jesus the bible says was "separate" Hebrews 7:26 "For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;" "separate" from sinners does not mean jesus did not hang out with sinners, for he did spent time with tax collectors etc. But he was not like them.........that's what that means I believe.
For instance, if jesus drank 1 glass of wine, he stopped then ----------- he didn't drink 3 glasses of wine...............that is just for a example.
  If jesus went to a rather "festive" shin dig......................jesus christ the lord did not party til the wee hours of 3-4 a.m. getting smashed drunk. I imagine jesus went to bed at what midnight at least. I don't believe the lord partied all night.

   So I cut my hair.....................

So here's me fresh haircut 0 makeup on.....................chubby face all minimized by a bob haircut. 

Which solves the problem and I pry could walk around no makeup on...............as I have stated modest clothing and no makeup is good plan cause "straight and narrow" is the way that leads to heaven! 

 I'm conflicted with this look. I know this last picture above is the typical white christian american look! You know if you look a slew like marilyn monroe.

Sheri update 9/8/2023 and have totally different ideas about listening to various types of music in the year 2023, I believe like there are tree's and many types, and many types of flowers............jazz, and country music, all these types of music are to be enjoyed on the earth. My bugle collection and video of me playing BOTH bugles (don't worry I'm probably even better at playing the tiny bugle) but my family prefers me playing the large bugle and that is fine since that is the one I play AC/DC songs with.............

Sheri 2023 - though heck straight and narrow is the way to heaven................so less "worldly music" is pry a good thing. Or at least I estimate 50/50 things, praise music 50% the time ----------- whatever type of music is  your preference the other 50% of the time --------- or some ratio like that. For the bible does say to praise god!!!!!!! 1 Chronicles 16:23 "Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation." - I don't feel in the year 2023 it's necessary to praise god all the entire day long. Nope people have music preferences, some like country music, some like me like goth music 😁💓💓💓💓💓💓 And surprise and shock for you all I play the bugle..............ya.......................I like a bit of jazz. Somedays I listen to Tony Bennett, to be fully honest I had a best friend in high school that was obsessed with Kenny G, I listened to a ton of Kenny G whilst doing homework back in the day. 

 my advice don't only listen to praise music unless you really want to

Tonight I am much pondering Ephesians 2:2 "...................the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" THIS SPIRIT WORKS IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE ACTIVELY...............this is how people out there decide they "like" lady gaga music (how some of miley cyrus's and rhianna's seriously sinful video's/songs ARE POPULAR OUT THERE CAUSE of Ephesians 2:2 "..............................the spirit the now worketh in the children of disobedience")
for reference sake ------- (((((Ephesians 2:1-3 "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.")))))

Jude 1:18-21 "How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.   I think it is a good plan to not be a "part" of the Ephesians 2:2 "....................the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" Be instead in the bible, praying, fellowshipping (even if that's just at church on sunday ----------- I think going to church on sunday is very important --------- I believe going to church regularly on sundays is a way of being of those that DON'T "separate themselves, sensual, having not the spirit")!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are not going to church regularly -------------- I'd say you maybe are separating yourself.......................with the exception of those who physically cannot attend church regularly do to healthy issues, work schedules etc. We should want to go to church, we should want to be around one another PREFER ONE ANOTHER IN LOVE.............Romans 12:10 "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;"

   2 Corinthians 6:16-17 "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." 

 ---------------------- I am not really able to listen to worldly music no more..................I've greately noticed with myself that I'm not of that "spirit" anymore.............there's definately a party spirit ALIVE AND WELL IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE SO THEY LIKE LISTENING TO THAT GARBAGE WORLDLY "PARTY SPIRIT" MUSIC........... Ephesians 2:2 "...................the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" 

   If I'm around a radio playing worldly music, I think to myself these days "do I really even want to be a part of that worldly "children of disobedience" "party spirit" -------------- no. 

 IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Part of a letter I e-mailed a apostolic christian brother today.............. Somedays I struggle much on the narrow way, yesterday I almost cracked - It's on my heart much this morning that I need to work to be separate from this world... 2 Corinthians 6:16-18: "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." . So true 2 Corinthians 6:16 "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?" I think it's like good to "come out from among them - and be ye separate" good thing for me to put a bit of distance between myself and this earth not live like them "touch not the unclean thing" this earth must defile themselves w/the things of this earth that they have as idols I really suspect 1 John 2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." Colossians 2:20-22 "Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Colossians 2:20 powerfully speaks to me to glad I decided to look it up in my bible concordia : ) "if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world" that right there super speaks to me........and to "touch not, taste not, handle not, which all are to perish with the using!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
