Pay does have something do to with value, you do if your a employee pay the employee's you value more a bit more money sometimes, that's just how the buisiness world is. Problem is for us girls, ladies, women, sometimes it don't matter if we have a college degree or it didn't for me

straight out of college, I was paid $8 a hour at the newspaper 

well 2 boys still in college were being paid $10+ a hour (one them got a raise) and I was the one with the degree doing harder work then those two boys in college!
