Update 10/20/2023 this blog post has been highly edited. I think as soon as facebook happened, and instagram happened, many of us started comparing each other to each other whether we realize it or not. How many likes and follows you have is actually so unimportant...................
1 Corinthians 1:27 "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;"
------------------------- nomadder where we each are in life it's exremely possible for us all to be meek and humble! I think it has to do a lot with having the right perspective in what we are to god....................

James 4:14 "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
With the right kind of heavenly perspective it's I believe plenty possible for all us to be "poor and contrite of spirit" "meek" "humble" etc.
We are all scarcely saved, it's for the better that way, that we not be proud and pufffed up and boastful. 1 Peter 4:18 "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" Keep on redeeming the time that's my advice. Ephesians 5:16 "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." That might be a phone call to a friend, or a writing a friend a letter, or volunteering somewhere etc. the little things do count.
