take t-shirt cut off sleeves like this, then w/a regular sewing machine sew the yokes onto the neck edges
(I sewed two times per yoke rectangle)
for the dress in this pic I just sewed a rather wide skirt using t-shirt type fabric
but on the top I didn't sew no hem just attached the suspendors
I used a size H hook(takes a half a scene of yarn)
rnd 1 --- Ch 21, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across, ch1 turn
rnd 2-5 --- sc across ch 1 turn
rnd 6 --- sc, *ch 5, sk 5, sc* (**across), sc in last sc, ch 1 turn
rnd 7 --- sc in each sc, 5 sc in ch 5's across
rnd 8 --- ch 121, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc total of 20 times across, ch 1 turn
rnd 9 --- sc, *ch 5, sk 5, sc* (**across), sc in last sc, ch 1 turn
rnd 10 --- sc in each sc, 5 sc in ch 5's across, ch 1 turn
rnd 11 --- sc across ch 1 turn (repeat 3 times) FINISH OFF
rnd 12 --- reattach yarn at opposite side of current strap ch, ch 100 make sure neck ch's are untwisted attach w/slip stitch the ch to the other side of other neck ch at the other end
rnd 13 --- sc the inside of the chains and across the yoke top edges all the way around FINISH OFF
(neck straps could be shortened up for a totally different look ---------- I was inspired after watching a 80's bannanarama video got a little bit zealous : )
