Update 6/2/2025 this post I had to think through why things didn't "feel right" when I attended a messianic congregation, something felt off.............and I think it's that they don't call jesus his real name in hebrew which is  Y'hōshū'a if a church calls jesus another name, that pry would make said church "feel off"

The name of the lord (I believe Jesus christ) was very offensive to most of the Jews look for yourselves................

Acts 4:15-17 "But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it. But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name." In his name understand when it says "in this name" They were having a MEGA PROBLEM WITH THE NAME OF THE LORD!!!!!!!!!! Because it wasn't the name they were expecting. They weren't expecting a name that translates in hebrew to Joshua!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

 Joshua is a lovely name by the way. It just has no special super fancy meaning to it does it ------ not the pizazz the Jewish Rabbi's in Jesus's day were expecting the lord name to have. 

 Acts 5:40 "And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go." - This Rubenstein family member be's coughing more proof there is some "problem" for the Jewish people most of them with "the name of Jesus" There is real issue being taken up with the lord's name in these verses in Acts.  Acts 8:12 :But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women."

  proof Act 8:12 is both of the importance of the Lord's name and definately Acts 8:12 is pointing to a problem with his name, that speaking on in his name sounds like it's a dangerous thing to do in Acts 8:12 hit's me as odd indeed that the bible would mention the "and the name of Jesus Christ" ------- literally the text makes mention of the name of the Lord..............that hits me as some red flag stuffs. That there is something definately "up" with the Lord's name that if they speak it, they might start a riot!!!!!!!!!!!!!
