  In the karate kid, Mr Miagi had the Daniel Sun wax on and wax off, do many repetitve things, and in the new Karate Kid tv series............even Kobra Kai they had the kids run around in a cement mixer, which is also a very repetitive action. The bible seems boring to me often, maybe to you as well. 

 Maybe to all of us the world seems

the heeding the word of god and being in the word of god Building upon our most holy faith as the bible says - the sanding the floor is for a reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jude 1:20 "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,"

Each of us is building a building whether a building of the "flesh" or a building "of the spirit" each of us builds this building every day. 

 You want big car

Me in "Mr. Miagi" mode doesn't deem wanting a nice life for oneself as a crime. 

But that isn't the building we need to put most our focus on. 

The building inside ourselves is so important

Romans 8:13 "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."

Galatians 5:25 "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
