1 peter 1:14 "as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance".......................................

   Been watching videos of this pastor all day yesterday and today..............this verse stood out to me he mentions in this video "1 Peter 1:14 "As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:"
   What this world about ----------------------- the lusts of the flesh, the pride of life 1 John 2:16 "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." You have some pride of life cause you have a big house and a big car..................the big house and the big car maybe that in of itself pry ain't the issue, but if you have the "pride of life" over that over owning those things that is "not of the father, but is of the world".
   This world is about.............look at me and my pretty car, and my pretty nails, and my cute shoes 2 Corinthians 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."
 This brother, he's talking about even like christian music being imitating of the world and not such the thing. I do tend to agree with him, the thing is sometimes if you listen to some these christian bands out there they do potentially blur the lines of what is holy, what is good (the band members being a bit still conformed up to the world, in the way they act, in the way they look).  There definately is a potentially bluring of the lines in the body of christ Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" - but this is not the case with all bands, and really honestly I am not a male pastor ok...............so this is not what the men preach hence I am super unpopular..........they preach don't have mercy with anybody. But I feel we need to have mercy with one another --- because we are in a "process" of overcoming the world....................getting victory over the world takes time. 

   You won't hear a pastor preach that.............they look to be all them preach don't have mercy with anybody...........flee anybody that so much as listens to lady gaga or skillet. 

Victory doesn't happen overnight

it takes time

and even when you have overcame 

you might still look like the world...........I speak about that below.............(clothing needed due to your job, etc. etc.)................

   I give myself and people like myself the "worldly music exception" ---------- if the only way you can "cheer yourself up" is worldly music - thumbs up 👍

  God doesn't I don't believe would rather I be on anti depressant medication. 

  I do full out believe and this is sheri 2021 adding to and editing this blog post........that god would prefer I be HAPPY cheery, listening to the devils music.........then drugged out on anti depressants. "well sheesh sheri how depressed would you actually be without the devils music"  - well let me see I have 81 videos as of now on my you tube and I was trying to be a serious you tuber and only 20 subscribers.........sooooooooooo I'm going with go to the gun store buy some heavy artillery and kill myself repeatedly depressed. 

   Jesus right came to give us life more abudantly so what does that tell you but that "life more abudantly" must not include some of the things this world values. John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." 

  I mean if you have a mansion fine

if you have designer clothing fine (some people need high end clothing for their jobs I made mention of that recently - I also am of that group in the year 2021 when I am editing/adding to this post cause I work in the realistate industry) I need a very polished look, that does include jewelry and nice clothing etc. 

but that should never be what any christian is "about"

 Part of the equation of having life more abundantly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To be spiritually alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is life more abundantly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But to me, life more abundantly is also.........................chess, scrabble, saunaing, biking, tennis, rollerblading, roller skating, crochet, wood turning on the lathe, parafoil kiting, plastic lace keychain making, farming aka turkey and chickens, well I do sew sometimes but not much, video games, nordic walking, and soooooooooooooooon to be riding my moped to the lake and fishing YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that's my list from 2012, 2021 me isn't to different except instead of "nordic walking" --- Gazelle, I'm back to making inkle, forget "lace keychain making" and turkey farming and fishing and scootering) Add to the list bowflex...........that would be the gym to, except coronavirus is still going strong when I'm adding to and editing this blog post. 
 Gods word it does say come out of this world, be ye separate, touch not the unclean thing, which I think the unclean thing could be many things...............definately is porn don't take a rocket scientist to realize that's unclean, worldly music lady ga ga some her songs YIE, fashion maybe isn't unclean in of itself but it's a definate part of the world I've pegged as being.
