Update 12/15/2023 back in 2015 when this blog post was originally written (and I ain't gonna edit it - naw lets hear what sheri 2015 had to say.....there were evidentally already pastors and the whole body of christ nearly freaking out about the LGBTQ). But all the freak out...............didn't stop one of my kids going trans AND MY KIDS WERE CHURCH KIDS THEY WERE CHURCH GOING KIDS AND MANY YEARS THEY CLEAN ATTENDED THE APOSTOLIC CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF AMERICA..............A VERY "STRAIGHT LACED" CHURCH. I'm saying sheri 2023 is saying bested love or learn to love the LGBTQ cause shiz sometimes is just fixing to happen.

I'm worried about this "neutral gender" thing starting to happen.......girls should dress like girls, boys should dress like boys.......................Deuteronomy 22:5 "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God." Target is gender neutralizing their toy aisles, I not sure if they gender neutralizing the rest the store or if that's in the plans or not?????????? Still concerning to me. If you get the young kids playing all them with dolls, army guys..............................maybe they'll naturally then all wear whatever clothing as well??????????????????

............................................I add a extreme adrongenous claus here......................I dress as a girl and am straight and turned out ok and I did according to my mom play with boy toys at the ripe age of 2. According to my mom at the ripe age of 2, I did not want to have NOTHING to do with barbie dolls or dolls...................all I wanted to play with was boy toys. And I ended up married to a guy, straight dressing like a girl..............albeit a severelly androgenous girl who enjoys rollerblading, flying giant parafoil kites, biking, haven't gone to the gym in months........summer vacation, frisbee golf : ), bumper cars oooooooooooo ya : ), world of warcraft, PINBALL OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, etc.

Here's the funny thing ... back when that verse was written how did men and women dress differently? They both wore tunics. There was no such thing as pants.
The verse, in context, was mostly saying it was not OK for women to wear armor and carry weapons. War and defense was for the men of the times. On the other side of this was men were not to wear makeup, jewels, scarves, etc. (As was often the practice in some pagan religions)
As with most things, it isn't what you wear but how you wear it. This goes for men and women.
And, the Target thing is good. They are basically saying that it isn't healthy to have a section of "Boy Lego" and a section of "Girl Lego", there should just be a Lego section. Instead of a doll section and an "action figure" section, there should just be one section for all of them. They will still be separated in groups, it's just not going to be an aisle of "girl toys" and an aisle of "boy toys" anymore. It's just going to be aisles of toys, grouped by type of toy, and the kids will just pick whatever one they like. The only thing that will really come of this is some kids are going to ask for a toy they might not have even known about before because it was in "the other aisle." Some boy may buy a Monster High doll because that one guy with fire for hair is pretty cool and would make a great villain to fight his superman action figure. And some girl might buy an action figure so she can have more boy figures to go with her other dolls.
It's not like everything will be drab, dull, grey from now on. There will still be "boy" toys and "girl" toys, Target has just decided they don't need to be separated in different sections anymore.
well both your replies are pretty good, like I agree with both you all. (((((((((((I was pry one those exceptional girls who even in the like 5th grade I was all in the boy toy aisle.........collecting wrestling action figures, and army guys, buying more shooter marbles etc. well I mostly bought marbles in the 4th grade that's when I was mostly playing marbles at school - sold most the marbles I won often back to the very kids I won them from, and then went and got candy at the convenience store after school............but I was bad at loosing the shooter marbles playing "high stakes" games of marbles often...........and so I had to often buy shooter marbles) Miracle I ain't rambo right now.
Your point to use the golden rule is a good one.
