Free beach glass ball netting crocheted ornament pattern..............

Free beach glass ball netting crocheted ornament pattern..............
size H hook
(I'm not sure the exact type of yarn I used, cause I got the yarn big tub of it from a craigslist ad : ) pry look even better in a regular (lighter) weight yarn this yarn might be a bit to bulky? Less you be putting some big big orament in it then this bulky sort of hempy yarn would be the thing!

ch 30
slip st in 1st chain making a big loop
ch 100
slip st into the 30th ch from hood making another big loop tie off ends

netting.........
tie a loose knot into one the ch 30 loops (pictured above, well mostly so you get idea loose knot not quite that loose but loose) slip st into the loose knot you just made then (ch 10, crochet 1 sc into big loop) repeat 7 times for a total of 8 ch 10's, slip st into the 1st ch on the 1st loop
row 2 --- slip st into the next 5 ch's (ch 9, 1 sc into the ch 10 loop) repeat around sl st into 5th sl st
row 3 --- sl st into next 5 ch's (ch 6, sc into next ch) repeat around slip stitching into 5th sl st
row 4 --- sl st into next 4 ch's (ch 4, sc into next ch 6 loop) repeat around sl st into 4th sl st
row 5 --- sl st into next 2 ch's (ch 2, sc into next ch 4 loop) repeat around sl st into 2nd sl st
row 6 --- sl st into 1st ch (ch 1, sc into next ch 2 loop) repeat around sl st into 1st sl st
tie off
repeat on other ch 30 loop

I originally designed this to hang on my review mirror, but have found it's great to hang anywhere you want to add some beachy flavor to the decor. (I love the beach, I know I'm not the only one) Also I think it'd be cool to make this in a lightweight yarn, use a clear ornament and add glittery fairy water into the ornaments to make them into beachy fairy sun ornaments (my husbands sister has this wavy glass fairy glitter ornament she loves, some people really into that fairy buisiness) Happy crocheting.
